Be Content With The Mystery

Do you ever feel like you’re 1,000 miles away from where you want to be? Maybe for some of you it’s a person you miss who you want to be with, or your favorite place to relax or maybe it’s a state of mind. Well whatever it may be, what’s for sure is that as Christians we all have to learn at one point or another, to be content with the mystery. In other words, we have to learn to be okay with not knowing where God’s leading us, but TRUST that He’s leading us to somewhere great! We all are busy people and we all have places where we want to be. I know some of you who are about to graduate from high school can’t wait for the day to come, and for the rest of you I know you’re counting down the days for summer vacation. Maybe some of you are working towards your athletic goals of one day making it to the pro’s or some may be working on getting into your dream school.  You may feel like you have a long way to go. You’ll get there! The bible says there is a  season for everything under Heaven. Just TRUST! But remember, that despite this season of waiting you may be in, whether it’s a peaceful one or an anxious one, the season we’re always in is the season of giving, the season of love- the season of being Jesus’ hands and feet on this earth. While you journey on the path God takes you, make time to feed the homeless or be there for a friend in need. Our Lord wants to take us where we want to be (of course if it’s pleasing to Him). He wants us to be happy, but most importantly He wants us to be his apostles. Because regardless of everything, our Ultimate goal, where we want to be, is Heaven. So sit back, enjoy the ride, if you follow my advice by Trusting God, working hard and helping others you’re in for the most BEAUTIFUL ride of your life! Go out, make a difference and “set the world on fire for Christ!”  🙂

“If you are what you should be you will set the world on fire.” – St. Catherine of Sienna

About christierojo

Trust in God "My child, when you come to serve the Lord, prepare yourself for trials. Be sincere of heart and steadfast, and do not be impetuous in time of adversity. Cling to Him, do not leave Him, that you may prosper in your last days. Accept whatever happens to you; in periods of humiliation be patient, FOR IN FIRE GOLD IS TESTED, and the chosen, in the crucible of humiliation. Trust in God, and He will help you; make straight your ways and hope in Him." -Sirach 2:1-6
